Skilpadvlei boardwalk Kommetjie is a village on the Cape Peninsula near Cape Town with a unique and special blend of beaches, mountains, sea, nature and surf … beautiful to stay in and amazing for a weekend getaway or a holiday.

Kommetjie is not only a popular Western Cape surfing spot, the village is also in the fynbos biome with a wide variety of plants and is well-known for its milkwoods. There are a number of nature walks and hikes Long Beach surf spot along the beach and along a number of boardwalks along the coast.

For the sightseer there are short day trips to Cape Point Nature Reserve or to Hout Bay over the spectacular Chapman’s Peak Pass with another popular surfing and swimming spot, Muizenberg, a short drive away on the False Bay side of the Peninsula.
